Project Overview

BumperSticker Pages is a web application built on the Astro platform. Based on a credit-system, you can quickly build micro-sites that express your ideas, assign custom domains, attach personalized polls, and deploy them in a few easy steps.

The idea that bumper stickers are concise, mobile, persistent and allow expression without the trappings of social media induced the creative collaboration with Adhocly, to create this unique site.

Design Philosophy

The aim with the Bumperstickerpages application was to make a simple interface that could turn an idea into a standalone website, even with its own domain name in an instant. There needed to also be a way to create numerous ‘bumperstickers' in one account, using a credit system, and be able to edit the content and redeploy from the same, simple UI.

• Ability to update the content in every way, retaining analytics
• Five different simple emoji reactions, that are tracked

• Free subdomain and deployment, ability to register and deploy on custom domains.

Sharing & Polls

• No social media integration (primarily as an alternative to social media)
• QR code generation
• Selective SEO and AI indexing, ability to opt-out of any
• A poll creation tool that can be assigned to any individual Bumpersticker page, allowing viewers to answer a few questions
• Poll interface consolidates answers in the admin area for tracking statistics
